Baseball Training - Fundamental Skills

Mission:

The primary mission of Laramie Athletics is to give all baseball players the best possible baseball program for training and development available in the United States.

Throughout sports, as well as in life, everyone develps strength, height, skills and coordination at different times as they grow. If training is stopped or left untapped, the athlete will never know his full potential when they reach physical maturity. If the under developed athlete is willing to work on their skills as they are growing through this time period, often they will mature into a very skilled individual that may go to college and continue to enjoy playing baseball with an athletic scholarship.

Small Town Baseball: The Current Situation

After finishing Junior Babe, baseball is pretty much over for most players as the next step is to try out to advance to the next level. As a result, many players give up on the sport and do not try out. For some, they try out and are cut, ending baseball for them.

In the younger ages of Little League, a lot of athletes want to get better due to skill advancements by their peers, and other team members / coaches / parents informing them that they need to improve. This is where Laramie Athetics aims to start - by taking the younger Little Leaguers that need to improve their skills as well as the players that are not in the game anymore, and train and develop their athletic skills.
